“The Fold & Basic Wear”

Convenient and comfortable, the Swaddlesport™ is as easy to put on as it is to stash in a diaper bag. 1) Start by simply taking out your Swaddlesport™ sling and examining it before each use for wear and tear. 2) To begin folding for wear, hold the loop of fabric with one hand on each open side so it forms a rectangle. 3) Next, fold the sling inside itself forming a two layered loop of fabric. 4) The leg padding should be on the outside layer once the fabric has been folded. 5) Then place the sling over your head while bringing your opposite arm up and through the loop so that the sling is now around your body (like a sash). Swaddlesport™ should now be resting on the crown of your shoulder (not neck). Be sure the sling fabric is flush around your body and is evenly folded inside itself. 6) Finally, adjust sling so the main seam is in front and in line with your belly button.

“Luxury Suite Carry™”
(Newborn (6lbs) to 4 Months)

Put sling on preferred shoulder with leg padding along top edge and facing up so fabric layers open toward the sky. 1) Pick up child in a cradle type position with arm/shoulder that sling is on and cross baby’s feet. 2) With free hand, pull outer layer of fabric (leg padding rail) away from inside layer and away from your body, thus opening the pouch. 3) Now, cautiously lower the baby’s bottom and legs into the pouch and on the seam. 4) Once child’s bum is at bottom of pouch lay the rest of her body back into the sling. 5) Adjust the fabric so child is safe, secure, and comfortable. 6.) Finished. WARNING: Be sure child’s chin is not pressed against her chest. This restricts oxygen flow and may cause suffocation.

“Courtside Carry™”
(Babies 4 Months to 8 Months (30lbs Max.)

Put sling on preferred shoulder with leg padding along top edge and facing up so fabric layers open toward the sky. 1) Adjust main seem so it is located in front of you and between your belly button and hip on opposite side from the shoulder that sling is worn. Pick up child above sling and facing out with her back to your chest. 2) Cross child’s feet and raise her above sling fabric. 3) With free hand, pull outer layer of fabric (leg padding rail) away from inside layer and away from body, thus opening the pouch. 4) Cautiously lower the baby’s bum and legs into the pouch with her body weight leaning back against your body. 5) Baby should be resting against you and sitting upright with head peaking outside of fabric layer. 6) Be sure the baby’s legs and bum are secure within the two layers of fabric and baby is deep within pouch. The seam should be slightly in front of the child. Adjust the fabric so child is safe, secure, and comfortable. WARNING: Use caution while adjusting fabric - Risk of Falls.

“Hip Check Carry™”
(7 Months to 30lbs Max.)

1) Put sling on dominant shoulder with leg padding and open edge of fabric loop facing down so fabric layers open toward the ground. Seam should be positioned just in front of hip bone on side of non-dominant shoulder. Pick up child with non-dominant arm and facing you. 2) With free hand, pull inner layer of fabric (non-padded rail closest to body) up from outside layer, separating the two layers of fabric and creating a pouch seat for baby. 3) Raise her above sling fabric and over non-dominant shoulder. 4) Lower child down (feet first) between your body and sling fabric so child is straddling your hip and her bum is rested in the seat and the leg padding is tucked behind child’s bent knees. Baby’s bum should be on the seam and remain deeply seated in fabric so her knees are above bum. 5) With free hand cautiously pull non-padded rail up baby’s back and over shoulders. 6) Child should be comfortably resting on your side.
